We consider ourselves to be an evangelical church with an emphasis on unity in Christ because we agree with the basic doctrines that characterize evangelicals, beginning with the gospel message that Jesus is Lord and Savior and that the Bible is God’s inspired Word and our source of authority. We have members and attenders from all sorts of church backgrounds as well as those with no church background. All are welcome here.

Gateway is a multi-site church with five locations in WV – St. Albans (GSA), Teays Valley (GTV), Beckley (GBK), Marmet (GMT), and Barboursville (GBV). Having good leadership at each campus is vital to the health and growth of the church, and an effective Campus Minister stands humbly between God and His people to create a ministry environment that fulfills the overall Vision of Gateway: Love God, Love People, and Serve. The Campus Minister serves on the Gateway Staff Team and works under the direct supervision of the Senior Minister to fulfill the mission of the church at the local campus and in the surrounding communities.
